As I stepped inside, I was met with a vibrant ambiance filled with laughter and chatter—exactly what you expect from a great diner. The menu is packed with comforting classics, but the seafood offerings stand out as treasures from the sea. I couldn't resist trying the Combination Seafood Platter, a delightful array of shrimp, scallops, filet of sole, and fried clams that perfectly encapsulated the essence of dining by the coastline.
For those who enjoy a hearty sandwich, the Deli Duo is a must-try. You can mix and match hot corned beef, pastrami, or turkey served on fluffy hamburger rolls, accompanied by a tasty potato salad. The flavors here are satisfying, even for the pickiest of eaters.

Family run business. Plenty of parking on and off premises. Attentive staff and a quality meal

First time trying this Diner, after a concert. They open 24 hours which is always good to have a option for food.. Service was slow, since only one waiter was serving the tables.. Ambiance was loud and noisy.. Food was okay. Prices are reasonable for a diner

I used to always come here when I lived in the area. The food is great and the service is good. It looks lien any other diner out there. I came here with a friend and everything came out great. We were in and out. Love coming ever and definitely will be coming back

Looks like a classic diner. The place seemed really nice and the food wasn't bad. The soup tasted really good. Our server was attentive to us when we needed a refill. Overall it was good.

We were a large group of 10. The service was good and food brought out quickly. Everything was yummy. Plenty of parking and open 24 hours a day. I will definitely be back

We were heading to a Holiday event, and we wanted to dine on the route at a diner. The Lighthouse Diner in Wantagh was an easy choice since I have dined at this location several times in the past. The neighborhood family restaurant is all about traditional American comfort food, but they feature some of my favorite Greek deserts. We enjoyed sizable salads with fresh plentiful grilled chicken for dinner along with Galaktoboureko for dessert. The staff was delightful and our dining experience enjoyable. Diners, like many other restaurants, are challenged by COVID, employee shortages and rising prices. Many restaurants are unable to maintain the expense of staying in business. We empathize with the restaurant owners and visit our neighborhood restaurants as much as we can afford.
